DEMZ–BMF Receives First New Investor Welcome Award – Foreign Investors Annual Summit 2026
At the Foreign Investors Annual Summit 2026 on October 21, we celebrated not only the opportunities for attracting foreign investment, but also the companies already investing in Lithuania’s future.
This year, we introduced the New Investor Welcome Award, with Minister of Energy Lukas Savickas presenting the inaugural recognition to DEMZ–BMF for its commitment to Lithuania’s defence industry and innovation.
DEMZ is establishing one of Europe’s most advanced defence manufacturing facilities in Lithuania, where it will produce defensive ammunition and high-precision components. The site will also serve as a regional centre for innovation, testing, and product development.
A key strength of the company is its ability to turn frontline experience from Ukraine into practical improvements. By incorporating this feedback into its design and testing processes, DEMZ can respond quickly to changing defence needs while maintaining high production standards.
The company’s ambitions extend beyond the facility itself. Through advanced European technologies and collaboration with local businesses, researchers, and scientific institutions, DEMZ aims to help strengthen Lithuania’s wider defence and innovation community.
