As we wrap up the first quarter of 2025, we are proud to reflect on what has already been an impactful start to the year for the American Chamber of Commerce in Lithuania. This period has been marked by growth, active engagement, and meaningful progress across a variety of initiatives – and it would not have been possible without the strength of our members.
On behalf of the entire team, we would like to express our sincere gratitude for our members continued dedication, results-driven approach, collaborative spirit, and strong ambassadorship. You are the driving force behind everything we achieve, and your commitment to building a stronger business environment in Lithuania is truly appreciated.

Driving Thought Leadership: White Papers That Matter
AmCham Lithuania’s Business Environment Committee made a significant contribution to the advocacy and public policy landscape this quarter with the release of three white papers addressing critical areas of Lithuania’s economic development:
- Enhancing Access to Capital in Lithuania: While companies are increasingly combining traditional bank loans with bond issuance to meet financing needs, the lack of incentives for issuers and investors, government-backed guarantees and similar risk-reducing instruments limits funding availability. Read the full White paper here >>>
- Boosting Productivity to Strengthen Lithuania’s Competitive Edge: Labor efficiency (productivity) is among the key indicators of the national economic progress, it is below the EU average in Lithuania, however. Read the full White paper here >>>
- Building a Smarter Procurement System: Improving Lithuania’s public procurement ecosystem (public procurement planning, requirements, manner, and public procurement procedures) is essential for fostering a more transparent, efficient, and competitive system, preventing termination of contracts with resulting costly litigation. These papers not only reflect the expertise within our membership but also demonstrate our commitment to constructive dialogue and data-based policymaking.
A Culture of Collaboration and Learning
At the heart of our success lies a vibrant culture of knowledge exchange and mutual support. Throughout Q1, we continued to provide opportunities for members to learn from one another, share industry insights, and foster lasting connections. Whether through panel discussions, committees meetings, or informal/networking events, we are proud to create opportunities that bring professionals together and spark fresh ideas.
