Erin Egan, Vice President and Chief Privacy Officer at Meta, where she leads privacy policy strategy across the company’s family of products. Based in Washington, D.C., she oversees Meta’s global privacy policy programme within Public Policy & Global Affairs, working at the intersection of data protection, AI governance, and platform regulation. Erin has been with Meta since 2011 and is a frequent participant in international privacy and data protection forums. Prior to Meta, she practised law with a focus on privacy and technology.
