On May 28th, 2010, more than 50 AmCham members and friends had the unique opportunity to meet legendary scientist Dr. Birutė Galdikas.

Dr. Galdikas delivered an inspiring presentation on her long lasting living and working in Borneo, Indonesia, where this famous anthropologist has been studying and protecting the orangutans for many years already.

During the meeting two albums - "Great Ape Odyssey" delivered from the UK by the representatives of UPS, were presented for the audience. These albums, signed by Dr. Birutė Galdikas, were purchased by two participated guests. The proceeds supported the International Birutė Galdikas ecology charity and support foundation www.birutegaldikas.lt.

Dr. Galdikas accepted special UPS' gift - the album "Vienas vardas - Lietuva" including sincere compliments signed by all event attendees. The meeting was ended with friendly networking reception.
