AmCham Lithuania is pleased to invite you to an exceptional online meeting with Marius Vismantas, Program Leader and a Lead Country Economist in the World Bank’s Equitable Growth, Finance, and Innovation practice group.
His core professional focus is on holistic economic development, developmental finance, financial and social resilience building, and state’s role in the economy.
While at the World Bank, Marius has worked with top national economic management and financial sector authorities in some 30 countries across multiple regions. Having previously covered countries in the Europe and Central Asia, East Asia and Pacific, and South Asia regions, he currently resides in Addis Ababa and covers Ethiopia, Sudan, South Sudan, and Eritrea. As a task manager of World Bank projects, he has led multiple high-profile lending and advisory operations, including a US$3 billion portfolio of policy and investment loans to governments for financial sector restructuring and crisis resolution, modernization of central, public, and private commercial banks, and for export, MSME, and infrastructure finance development.
His career in finance and international development spans over 27 years and includes, in addition to the World Bank, technical, managerial, and senior leadership positions at the Bank of Lithuania, International Monetary Fund, Danske Bank, and Danske Pension Fund Management. Marius has an MBA degree in Finance and a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation. He is a former and current board member of a few non-government entities and also a long-time member of the Vilnius International Rotary Club.
Vytautas Žukauskas is an experienced policy analyst with a demonstrated history of working in the public policy industry. Skilled in Politics, Policy Analysis, Corporate Finance, Government, and Financial Markets, Vytautas is working as Policy Analyst and Research Director at the Lithuanian Free Market Institute.
