Please be informed that considering the current situation with COVID-19, AmCham Annual General Meeting 2020: Board Election will still take place at 16:00 – 18:00 on Wednesday, September 2nd, 2020, but will no longer take place at U.S. Ambassador’s Residence instead it will be held online via Microsoft Teams. This year 5 Board Members and 2 Candidates–Observers will be elected. The nomination period is now closed, you will receive the full list of candidates this Friday, August 28th, 2020.
According to the AmCham By-Laws, every member is eligible to vote. Please note that the companies must designate their representatives to participate in the meeting and vote on their behalf. A designation letter on the company letterhead must be signed by the Chief Executive Officer and sealed. The letter must be presented at the meeting. The individual member’s proxy must be notarized. These requirements are stipulated by the law.
(!) Make sure that your membership fee is paid prior to the meeting, otherwise you will not be able to vote!
