Last week AmCham Vice-Chairwoman Giedrė Kvedaravičienė has attended a meeting organized by Invest Lithuania, where KPMG consultants joined a feasibility study on life sciences industry in Lithuania.
“Life sciences are by far one of the most important industries with enormous economic potential. However, the complexity of this sector, including its links with the medical, agricultural and food industries, poses serious challenges in discovering the recipe for Lithuania’s success story, refining the general theses and specific factors that can create the international competitiveness of the country and companies. We are glad to see that due attention is paid to attracting highly qualified specialists to the objective feasibility study of the country’s competitiveness, which will be relevant and valuable not only in shaping state policy on life sciences, but also in business, planning investments and their expected return on investment” says Giedrė Kvedaravičienė, Vice-Chairwoman at AmCham Lithuania.
